With 75 years of existence the public radio that today groups the broadcasting stations Señal Radio Colombia and Señal Radiónica, initiated their work of information and education of the Colombian people on February 1, 1940, in the government of the president of that time Eduardo Santos.

This work that initiated under the name of "Radiodifusora Nacional de Colombia" has evolved through decades, turning into the window through which the Colombians can appreciate our diversity and identity, across the coverage of informative and cultural events of importance for the country, the promotion of our culture, customs, the folklore and the national rock.

At present, the public radio is projected like a structured, analytical and independent way, which produces contents of depth, which reaches the main cities of the country and isolated places from the national geography, across its 49 frequencies.
